Cement WarehouseClinker
Clinker is used in the manufacture of Portland Cement. Clinker comes as lumps or nodules, usually from 3-25 mm in diameter, produced by sintering limestone and alumino-silicate (clay) during the cement kiln stage. Clinker is ground (usually with the addition of gypsum, that is, calcium sulphate dihydrate) to become Portland cement. It may also be combined with other active ingredients or chemical admixtures to produce, ground granulated blast furnace slag cement, pozzolana cement and silica fume cement.

Clinker, if stored in dry conditions and can be kept for several months without appreciable loss of quality. Because of this, and because it can easily be handled by ordinary mineral handling equipment, clinker is traded internationally in large quantities. Cement manufacturers purchasing Clinker, grind it as an addition to their own clinker at their cement
plants. Global Resource Management Group ships Clinker to grinding plants in areas where cement-making
raw materials are not available.

The Cement Clinker supplied by Global Resources Management Group is consistently tested to ensure
high quality and is renowned for excellent strength and high quality.

Portland Cement
We offer high grade Portland Cement that is ideal to be used in varied applications and therefore is on a huge demand. The Portland Cement supplied by Global Resource Management Group is fabricated by mixing and heating limestone, clay as well as other materials at a high temperature of about 1450 degree centigrade.

Portland cement (often referred to as OPC, from Ordinary Portland Cement) is the most common type of cement in general use around the world because it is a basic ingredient of concrete, mortar, stucco and most non-specialty grout. It usually originates from limestone. It is a fine powder produced by grinding cement Clinker (more than 90%), a limited amount of calcium sulphate (which controls the set time) and up to 5% minor constituents as allowed by various standards such as the European Standard EN197-1.

A Hydraulic cement produced by milling Portland cement clinker (TS 3441) together with gypsum. It is classified as
PC 32.5, PC 42.5, and PC 52.5. “PC” is the symbol for Portland cement while the numbers 32.5, 42.5, 52.5 indicate
the minimum desired strength value achieved within 28 days. Produced in compliance with EN 197-1 (British)
and (American) standards.

It is generally used in works requiring high strength values, concrete works performed at low temperatures,
precast buildings, tunnel-form applications, building chemical manufacturing and foundations.
