Coal Seam and Shale Gas Investment Opportunity

Global Resources Management Group and Partners are pleased to announce an investment opportunity in a set of exploration permits in the Eromanga Basin in southern Queensland, adjacent to the Gilmore gas field. These tenements cover a total of 9,750 km2 (2.4 million acres) in two adjacent permits.

Resource Potential
Independent assessment from two leading petroleum consultants estimate the potential for over 10 Trillion Cu. Ft. of Gas Initially In Place (GIIP). In addition there is potential for over 1 (one) TCF of GIIP in sub-coal sands.

Research
The resource estimates were calculated by a study of

  • 9,500km of 2D seismic interpretation
  • well reports from almost 100 petroleum and deep water bores;
  • 2 recently drilled CSG wells

Tenement Summary

  • Permits include over 40 wells
  • Permits include 4,000 km of seismic survey defining the CSG in the Winton Formation
  • Coal seam and shale gas deposit extend to 5,000km2, and at depths of 180-500m
  • Two CSG wells drilled in June/July 2011, intersected;
    25 metres of organic rich material with associated gas
    12 metres of grey shale
    35 metres of gassy sandstone containing organic material
  • Gas pipeline to the near by power station runs adjacent to the permits.
